I missed third dose of Hepatitis vaccine ? Do I have to repeat it again?

I had a hepatitis vaccine according to 0, 1, 5 i.e. second dose was one month after the first dose and third dose was after the 5th month from the first dose but it has become now 8 month so my question is ---- will it be still effecitve if I take my third dose at 8 month or do I have to repeat all my vaccincation schedule.

Please answer this question by expert only.

after your second dose the doctor should have done a titus test,and if you are building a immunity then the third shot does not need to be taken,but if not then yes you need the third

If I remember right you can get your last dose still.

You can get the 3rd dose now without starting over. The schedule proposed is the soonest you can get the subsequent doses - but you can get them later. It is usually not recommended to wait too long because you may not yet be immune to Hepatitis. You may be at risk for contracting this disease if you are exposed. Some places recommend a blood test to determine if you have developed enough antibody to make you immune once you finish the series.

You are still ok, but you need to get that 3rd shot soon. The first 2 are the ones everyone is concerned about.
