Can I get some information regarding Hepatitis-B & also how to cure it for a person who is in the basic stage Most people who become exposed to Hepatitis B clear it on their own. For the remaining 20% or so who go on to have chronic HBV infection, Hepatitis B can be treated. You need to be treated by a specialist (gastroenterologist); they know specifically about the liver and the medications used to treat it. Get in touch with a local support group so you can educate yourself about the disease and the treatment. Stay away from alcohol because that speeds up the damage to the liver, and once the liver is too damaged to function, you can't live. You don't want to have to go through transplantation if it can be prevented. I know many people who have been treated. Best wishes to you. Source(s): Hepatitis Educator, advocate, HCV survivor There is no cure.... See URL below. There is no cure for Hep B. http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/diseases/hepat... Try www.patient.co.uk Sorry to disappoint you, but there is no cure for hep B Watch your eating habits: ie no fried food for a while (a few weeks), no booze, no milk products. I had this a number of years ago & the after effects can be terrible. Start using vitamin B12, which will help your liver recover, and get to see your GP asap. |
