My friend has been cleared of hepatitis b, is afraid she has infected herboyfriend..help?


Her doctor told her that she is cleared of hepatatis b, and can have a boyfriend and its no problem, so now she may have had unprotected sex with her boyfriend..he complains of green stool, fatigue, low energy...could she have infected the boyfriend?! thank you

Well, he should certainly be checked out by his physician. Hopefully she told him about her condition otherwise she probably won't have a boyfriend anymore regardless of whether or not he caught anything from her.
There is a vaccine for hepatitis B, she needs to have any possible partners get vaccinated and then she has nothing to worry about. But, you can never be cleared from Hepatitis B, it is always in your blood stream. If her boyfriend doesn't feel good, he needs to be checked to be sure.
