Is the sexual relations caused of transferring Hepatitis B or C? |
Kissing & intercourse Hepatitis C (HCV) is spread through blood to blood contact. Rough sex and unprotected anal sex could give blood to blood contact, so avoid those activities to avoid HCV. Normal sexual relations are NOT a risk situation to contact HCV. Do not borrow a toothbrush, hairbrush, or razor as there may be trace amounts of blood on them that would put you at risk. Sex during mensis would put you at risk if you had open cuts or sores. HCV is ONLY transferred in blood to blood contact. Sex would not normally fall into that category. Source(s): Life with HCV 30+ years. This disease will not be beaten with misinformation and paranoia, getting tested if you're over 40, or have at risk behaviours, and educating yourself will beat this disease. both Hepatitis B is transferred through sexual intercourse. Hepatitis C is not (probably). Kissing is safe. Medical Student if you kissing somebody with hep c you can't catch it but if you kiss somebody with hep b in you have a cut or a open soar in your mouth are on your lip then it could be a chance with getting it. also if you have sex with a infection person have hep b then it another chance you can get as well.It a fact that hep c it not a sexual disease but you can transfer hepatitis b threw intercourse. i work at the hositpal in also i'm a carrier for hep b and i read on different website about hepatitis. |
