Can i have the natural immunity against hepatitis b?

my doctor said after a series of blood test on hepatitis virus he said that i have the natural immunity against it, but i never had that virus before. Is it possible for me to have the natural immunity?

In your other question you did not mention the type of hepatitis the Dr said you had immunity against. Your immunity was acquired after past exposure to the HBV or through vaccination. This is not "natural immunity" but acquired immunity and you are now immune to infection from hepatitis B.

It is possible but the only real way to tell is to challenge your immune system with live virus. If it turns out that you don't then you will be a persistantly infected carrier for the remainder of your life.
It's rare, but it happens. Some people have such a strong immune response that they form antibodies to a virus they've been exposed to, without actually developing the virus.

There's a lot of research into why it happens, because if we could make it happen for everyone, there would be a lot less disease. So, good for you. :)
vaccination, Yes you probably had your shots. Depends on your state but in IN you had to have all your shots to get into public school. Here is a link below about hep B. I know I had my kids get all of the shots, you ever know going over seas or around the amish.

Yes it is possible it must be a gentic trait that ir rare, but I dont know much about hepatitis, but your immunity must be genetic.
I don't know about a "natural" immunity. Maybe you only had one or two shots in the series. Or, your mother passed the immunity onto you while you were in the womb. I only had 1 in the series of 3 shots and I am immune.
