Could there be any possible health implications with the hepatitis B infection? What makes you think so? |
Could there be any possible health implications with the hepatitis B infection? What makes you think so? Hepatitis, in its early stages, may cause flu-like symptoms. If hepatitis progresses, its symptoms begin to point to the liver as the source of illness. Chemicals normally secreted by the liver begin to build up in the blood, which causes jaundice, foul breath, a bitter taste in the mouth, dark or "tea-colored" urine, and light or "clay-colored" stools. There can also be abdominal pain. Hepatitis B is contagious. With hepatitis B, 85% to 90% of patients recover from their illness completely within 6 months, without long-term complications. Source(s): http://kidshealth.org/parent/infections/... there are many bi-directional diseases associated with any type of liver disease, simply because when one organ is overloaded with a virus, all other organs have to work harder, thus in return weakening the entire system, causing them to be more succeptable to disease. hbv although a different type of virus (dna) compaired to hcv which is an rna virus, both are capable of causing many bi-directional diseases. *I had hcv for amost 30 years, so I am speaking from experience. |
