Can I have children if my partner had been infected with Hepatitis ? |
Can I have children if my partner had been infected with Hepatitis ? You can but both partners need to talk with a doctor so that any and all testing needed to be done can be to protect the mother and unborn baby. yes you can cause my uncle have hepatitis c and he have a son. What kind of hepatitis? Hep. A and E are acute and resolve completely. They have no chronicity and no carrier stage. For hep. B, there is a vaccine and if you have not had it, you must have it. After 3 doses if you develop antibodies, the disease cannot be communicated to you or your unborn child. For hep. C, there is no vaccine. If your male partner has chronic hep. C, you have a strong chance of getting it yourself and passing it to your unborn child. Hep. F does not exist. Hep. G is just like hep. C. correction on HCV! hcv corpuscles found in semen and vaginal fluids are NOT transmittable! hcv is not an STD unless there is infectious blood involved and an open wound in the non infected! yes, you can have children! the chances of you becoming hcv positive are extremely LOW. about a .03%. hcv is only spread through blood! good luck riss-hepatitis c objectives have two healthy sons who are not hcv infected and i had hcv long before i even knew what sex was! that should not be a problem! ;) I have known pple with hepatitis who still have children ;) BTW, if there is a way to get rid of your hepatitis problem, would you be interested to find out more? If you do, pls email me at verityy@yahoo.com |
