If a man has unprotected sex with a woman infected with hepatitis C, can he catch it? The possibilities are low. There are risks however. Under certain conditions it may be possible. Doctors usually recommend that protection be used so as not to be at risk. There are many websites that offer more information as to how transmission may happen.
