I heard the shot is painful and usually given in the butt. Any info related to this would be greatly appreciated.
Any shot that needs to be given in a large dose needs to go in the back side. this prevents it from being AS painful and alows it to be distributed evenly and not knot up. The hep A immuno globulin shot does sting during and can feel kind of like a bruise the next day, a little sore, and you may feel a little nauseated, some dry toast or crackers can help with that. But, doesn't that sound alot better than getting hep A?

used to be a phlebotomist and got stuck w/ a dirty needle and the guy refused testing, so I had to go through the ringer.
