If a nurse injects a patient, with a std like hv or hepatitis how can the patient prove it? |
my friend initally went for a hiv her hiv truma now she is thinking if the nurse infected her with hepatitis she has been having boil like spots, yellow-spot like on her face.... This has got to be the stupidest question I have ever read! A nurse would not ever infect a person with a virus! A boil is not hep! Its cause from being nasty! She could have herpes and she would have gotten that from sleeping around! Do your "friend" a favor and get her to the doctor so she can get tested before she spreads that stuff! Of and what in the world is "HIV her HIV trauma"? Does your friend have HIV? Your friend went to the hospital for HIV What???????? I can't really understand the circumstances of the situation. Nurses are NOT ALLOWED (EVER) to use non-sterile needles. Needles, after they are used are supposed to be disposed into a sharps bin. Usually it is a yellow-container with a biohazard sign found in the clients' room. A nurse, if proven to use a non-sterile needle can lose his/her license and can be prosecuted, if I am not mistaken. I would not jump into the conclusion that the nurse used a tainted needle. Hepatitis can be contracted even through ice cubes, water fountains, unprotected sex, and many more. My best advice is to have an STD test or even a Hepa test in a clinic to reassure and relieve the anxiety. Hope that helps. Why would she think the nurse did it? Maybe she should see a dr and find out why she has boils on her face. That is not a symptom of hepatitis, by the way. Hepatitis affects the liver. http://health.yahoo.com/ency/healthwise/... As syringes are discarded into a sharps container immediately after use, your friend will never be able to prove it. It's ridiculous to think the nurse did anything unlawful or unethical. Your friend is upset and looking for someone to blame. She should focus on finding out what the real problem is. By the way, what is a "hiv her hiv truma"? I'm a nurse. Give me a break!!! A nurse in which country? I seriously doubt it!!! If she has Hep she probably had it before!!! |
