I know many people working in the US in health care who have HIV, Hep C, or Hep B. To stop you from doing so would be discrimination. All health care providers are required to used Universal Precautions to protect themselves and the patients. This should not be an issue, if it is speak with a lawyer. Source(s): I am an NP.
of course
Are you CRAZY?
Not in the states you can't. And for good reason. I can't believe you'd even consider it and put people at risk.
Uh, you have an infectious disease. People in the hospital are imuno-compromised anyway. WHY WOLD THEY LET YOU RISK THEIR PATIENTS?! No, you cannot work in healthcare period.
