Pregnant and have high blood pressure?

pregnant and have highblood pressure. did your doc ever told you that your baby had stop growing and want to induce labor? or did your baby kept on growing and was still induced/have c-section. tell me your story. the good and the bad. i want to hear your experience. after you had your baby was your baby okay? thanks a whole lot

I have increably high blood pressure brought on by pregnancy. Bad enough I've been admitted off and on and have a nurse that comes daily to check me over. Ive been placed on Labatlol to help control it and its been working wonderfully.

I have NEVER been told that my baby has stopped growing and thats why they would induce my labor. In fact my baby is growing great, hes going to be a chubby....I was fair warned that if my blood pressure remained to high for to long they would induce me simply because the baby is putting my health at too much of a risk. And that was very early on ( 23 weeks or so) so naturally I was scared....Im 38 weeks now and would be induced this Sunday but Ive developed a cold and the flu so their holding it off till next week. I do know Blood pressure problems do put you at a greater risk for having a C section but thats only if its in the best interest of the baby or the mothers health.

Im 36w and i have LOW blood-pressure...they have never told be that my son was going to stop growing...i most likely will be having a c-section...but its not decided yet...Im going to the hospital tomorrow morning so they can check out my umbilical cord and make sure its not compressed of collapsing...so im a little scared...hope everything works out!!!

When i was first pregnant i had low blood pressure and at 32 weeks my blood pressure shot up. I had to reduce my work hours and take it easy. Doing daily chores was a struggle.
At 38 weeks my blood pressure went mental and i had to go to the maternity unit a few times a week to get a trace on the monitor and see how my blood pressure went. The baby was great with no distress, it was just my body that was being silly.
I went over by a week with my daughter and that was when the hospital took the decision to induce me as my blood pressure would rise even when i was siting down doing nothing! My daughter was fine and see was perfect when she was born. Hope my story helps x
