High blood pressure and potassium pills? |
I'm taking both pills, I just started taking the potassium pills almost two weeks ago and I've been taking the bp pills since August. But I want to know will my doctor take me off of these pills and tell what I could do to lower my bp and raise my potassium. I don't want to take pills for the rest of my life. One would guess that you're taking a diuretic like hydrochlorthiazide or chlorthalidone for your blood pressure, and that would be causing enough depletion of potassium to require replacement. That's only a guess, though. For a while take it your pills for maintenance your BP. |
