Could this be high blood pressure?

Im 20 weeks pregnante and for the past 2 weeks I've been getting really bad headaches every day and once and awhile get blurry vision. Could it be high blood pressure? I've never had high blood pressure with my other pregnancies(2) its really really low all the time.

I havent had any swelling or anything else along those lines

You should definitely call your doctor and let them know about this. Assumption leaves room for a mistake and I know you don't want to make any mistakes when you and your child's life is involved.

I wouldn't think that blurry vision would be a common side effect of High Blood Pressure, but everyone is different.

Definitely call your doctor.

Yes these can be symptoms. Also you might notice your toes (especially right foot) feeling like pins & needles.

Try going into a pharmacy and using their self-test blood pressure machines. They're free.

Yes, and you should definitely have it checked out. The headaches and blurry vision make me think pre-ecclampsia. Do you have swelling of your hands and feet (and possibly your face)? This is dangerous and potentially life-threatening to you and your baby if not carefully monitored.

You need to call your health care provider immediately. When you have hypertension, the baby has hypertension. Simple as that.

You should also have your blood sugar checked.

I wish I had an answer for you girl. The only thing I can do is to stress the importance in contacting your doctor and letting him/her know about your symptoms. I do remember have the spotted vision once in a while when I was pregnant, but I didn't get headaches every day. Your headaches may be the cause of your blurred vision. Two, if you're highly stressed, please keep yourself away from stressful situations. If your job is highly stressful, then I would recommend you cutting down your hours, or see if your budget will allow you to become a stay at home mom. Please go see your doctor on this. This could be something simple, or it could be a sign of something major. So don't take a chance ok? Take care and feel better soon.
