High blood pressure or panick attack? A.S.A.P. please? |
i have panick attacks and i'm not sure what this is but my face got really hot and it turned really red and i just got i think dizzy well i'm not sure on that . which do u think this was high blood pressure in which i am not dianosed with or panick attack in which i have been dianosed with? Sounds like a panic attack. Did you have any triggers? It could be as small as lack of sleep, or worrisome thoughts. When you are having a panic attack or feel "funny" or "off" as though one may be coming on, lay on the couch or bed and vision a square with points on each corner. Take a deep breath hold it for 4 seconds imagine traveling to the next corner, let out the breath..continue to focus on your breathing and do the 4 square breathing until you start to calm down. I know it is scary, but the point is focus on something else besides how strange you feel. Mind over matter is powerful in this sort of experience. Good Luck and just try to relax your mind...maybe even lay there regulate breathing and count backwards slowly from 100 while imagining the actual # in your head. panic attacks will bring on high blood pressure. |
