Is 110/82 high for blood pressure I'm 38 weeks pregnant?

i have been seeing the same docto since i found out i was pregant she never said anything about my blood presure but last week i seen a delivering doctor and she said i should be concerned with preclamcia my feet are a lil swollen no protine in my urine and my hands are not swollen but ive been having frequent headachs should i be alarmed does anyone know abot this

That actually isn't too bad. The bottom number is a little high, but i've always heard that ideally, your bp should be 120/70 or lower. I had a little high blood pressure towards the end of my pregnancy, but it always lowered if i laid down on my side and relaxed. So my doc put me on bed rest for a week. I was induced on my due date, but not because of the bp, just because I asked her to for personal reasons. But I wouldn't be too concerned if your ob doc isn't.

Im in school to be an x-ray tech and I learned that 120/80 is normal but it can range from 110/60 and that would still be considered normal too... I wouldnt be to worried, my friends feet swelled up really bad when she was pregnant and the doctor told her to stay off her feet and keep them elevated she has a two year old daughter now and my friends health is just fine :) best of luck to you!

No thats a good blood pressure. Ideal is usually when the buttom number is in the 60's & 70's Anything in the 90's & up is high. 80's I guess would be borderline. I suffer from hypertension so I do know alot about it. If it feels like it's high lay on your left side it will come down but 110/82 is fine. Remember your body is carring around more weight now & your towards the end of your pregnancy.

i odnt understand why a doctor would tell you to be concerned about preclasmia. isnt that there job? and obvisously you didnt get any infomation. i think you need a second opinion from another delivering doctor and ask that doc about preclasmia. sorry i couldnt tell you about it though

no that is NOT high. 120/80 is normal. your high number is COMPLETELY fine, and your low one, is a couple points up but still okay. if you were getting towards 90 then it would be concerning. and swelling and headaches are completely NORMAL in pregnancy. this doctor sounds like a floozy. blessings

Well you are doing way better than what I was doing at 33 weeks I had 136/96 and then at 37 weeks it went to 180/100 and I was induced.Your doing way better than what I was.I had PIH and was on the verge of preeclampsia.

The bottom # is a tad high. The top one isn't high at all. But, that's what doctors are for. Trust them. Don't worry.
