Has anyone had high blood pressure because of this? |
i will be 38 weeks in a few days and been in and out of my midwifes office and the hospital due to high blood pressure well they tested everything they could no sign of preeclampsia but yesterday i went in to the hospital because my blood pressure was 135 over 97 and the nurse told my mom that the reason my blood pressure could be going up is because when im walking around and up and doing stuff he is so big that he is getting on some blood vessels because when i lay down my blood pressure goes down and its good im confused iv never heard of this I suggest to go once a week to get your bp tested. I was born 2 weeks to early, due to my mother having high blood pressure nearer the end of her pregnancy. She went for her last check up (this was 2 weeks before she was booked in for a C-section. The doctor immediatelly made her go to hospital for an emergency C-section otherwise me, her or both could die, due to her being pregs at that time. I am not trying to scare you, just asking you to please get it check regularly to avoid anything happen to your precious little angel...or you for that matter def. normal.....your blood pressure wasnt too terribly high...not high enough to cause serious complications anyhow. BUT, when anyone, pregnant or not, gets done running or anything, your blood pressure will be slightly elevated because your heart is pumping harder and faster. With you being pregnant, you have more blood flow...so thats why. I wouldnt be concerned, especially if it goes down with rest. |
