I used to have very high blood pressure. Now it's normal. Is that unusual? |
My BP was 180/110, and was pretty steady at that level. My doctor prescribed Exforge, which I have been taking for about 6 months. Last week, I was feeling very tired, weak & dizzy. I skipped the meds and found my BP was around 120/80. Went to see the Dr. and he confirmed (actually 115/70) - and could not believe the change. He said he's never seen anything like that before. Yea, it's just as unusual as your doc said. I've never heard of anyone going off BP meds, well not with a doctors approval. My doc told me I'd be on them for life. Of course that was at the same time I had Coronary Artery Bypass Graft surgery for 5 bypasses. maybe you lost some wieght to from not eating for being week thats not bad ,loss wieght can bring your blood presure down Count yourself lucky. I wish that would happen to me. |
