I have a really high blood pressure, and i was wondering if there was anything i can do to lower it?


The doctor's tell me i have a high blood pressure and am close to getting diabeties. I really need to lower it like now and i need to know what foods to eat and what foods and things to stay away from! hellpp!?!?!?!! :(

Start a walking program. At least 1/2 hour every day; build up to 1hour.
Cut back on salt.
Eat more fruits and vegetables.
Eat more fiber.
Add calcium, magnesium, potassium, and Vitamin D to your diet.
Add skim milk, spinach, unsalted sunflower seeds, beans, baked potato, bananas, soybeans, dark chocolate, whole grains, and fish.
Look up the DASH diet online.

exercise if you need wt loss
low salt use dash
eat oatmeal ,cheerios
low fat
veggies and fruits
garlic clove per day might lower it also

Your Dr.should be able to prescribe you Meds for that,stay away from all the whites they call it or you will end up carrying a syringe and poke your self everytime,ask your Dr. again....

Eat less animal fat like cheese, eggs & red meat. Avoid sugar and high amounts of carbohydrates.
Lose weight...

Get on a prescribed blood pressure pill.Avoid salt.

well many people have a pill.oh and STAY AWAY FROM SALT
