Would this be considered high blood pressure? |
When I walk in to take my blood pressure its around 146/79 I'll take it again and its 133/80 and i'll take it one last time and it was 120/71.I'm 29 and it seems the bottom number is always good but that first number seems to be around 139 to 146 when ever i set down to take it,but it always goes back down usually i take it 3 or 4 times b4 it goes back down is that considered high blood pressure if it goes back down? When you get to the place to take your BP sit down for 10 or so minutes and think about something else, don't worry about your pressure, then try taking it. Even if it is as 146/79 you are still in a normal range, don't stress it. If you are really worried, Talk to your doctor try this.. when you walk in again to take your blood pressure.. sit down for 5 to 10 minutes.. breathe.. then measure your BP.. if it ranges from 130 above.. (13 - 140/80 above) then you're hypertensive.. You may just stress about taking your blood pressure. A lot of people do that. |
