I have high blood pressure and anxiety and I don't know what kind of exercise to do for this? |
My doctor says I should do any kind of exercises that Ok? for anxiety? even I have high blood pressure? even my hypertension doesn't have a cause..because doctors made me several studios of my organism I have high blood pressure and I also suffer from anxiety, I take HCTZ 12.5 mg which is a low dosage for high blood pressure and I take Xanax occassionally for panic attacks. Exercise on a regular basis helps a great deal, so does a good night rest. Regarding exercise you can do anything and everything you want to do. I sometimes dance, sometimes go for fast pace walks or sometimes I work out at the gym. Drinking water regularly helps too to wash out the toxins out of your system. As exercise intensity rises, so does your blood pressure. To help lower blood pressure, start with more moderate exercise. The doctor told me to walk about 30 minutes a day, 3 times a week. I have tachycardia and have to take Metprolol to slow it down. I have high blood pressure and diabetes, and on medication for both of these conditions, as well as an anti-depressant for anxiety and depression. I would suggest you look into Yoga, meditation, and simply walking for an hour a day. |
