Ways to reduce high blood pressure during pregnancy?

What are some ways to reduce high blood pressure during pregnancy besides stay away from salt and take medication? Anyone has anything creative that helped them throughout their pregnancy?

Relaxing is one that I can think of. But I had high blood pressure at 32 weeks till I gave birth at 38 weeks. I still have to deal with it today. Good luck

its oatmeal

First you must add milk then butter and sugar- about 5 tablespoons of sugar to bring the consistency to the right point where it isn't too watery or too concrete. Next, Microwave for 2 minutes and whisk (stir). Then, put in for another two minutes and whisk again. Now add 5 more tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of molasses to give it a more concrete consistency. Now stir it very well and microwave it for 5 minutes. This should bring the watery parts to fruition and make it more concrete and easier to eat and will also improve the flavor.

Now it is ready to eat. You can go a further step and make oatmeal muffins. Roll the completed oatmeal into little balls and put them in the oven at 350F. Let it sit for 20 minutes and they will be ready. They require a longer cooking time than the average muffin because of the sugary consistency added and because of the milk.

If you aren't already taking meds, you can eat a grapefruit a day. Not only do they help keep you regular, for some reason they lower blood pressure too. A friend of mine lost her meds while on a tropical holiday with no way to get more and the island people told her to eat grapefruit. She did and by the time she got home(after a month) she didn't need to refill her prescription. Her bp had lowered dramatically.

Like many other people, I had high blood pressure for years. With some simple concepts you can learn instantly, I stumbled upon a way to lower it with out drugs. Thanks to nothing more then high blood pressure remedies I now have my blood pressure down to 120/75.

Watch your diet, you can look up low sodium diets on line. Also, you can lay on your left side and RELAX. Drink plenty of water too.

Staying away from sweet stuff and caffeine helped me. Any time I had caffeine my blood pressure skyrocketed and I got real dizzy. I stopped and it didn't do it again.

Limit your sodium intake.
