Anyone else have high blood pressure in the last few weeks on ther pregnancy? |
Went to the doctor on Monday and they told me my blood pressure was boarder line high so they put me into hospital to keep an eye on me. This is my first pregnancy with it. i had it, then was told i had pre-eclamsia, i had no ankles, no neck i was really puffy and huge with a slime on my skin where it had stretched way too much, i had an emergancy c section 2 weeks before the due date, i was told i was VERY lucky as my kidneys were packing in, so please watch out for being too swollen and really thirsty all the time, my midwife didnt pick it up i went to hospital from doing research on pre-eclamsia and i had all the symptoms, please be careful. I had it with my first pregnancy. I also had dizziness, and very severe headaches. I was never hospitalized. I was told that it was diagnosed as proclampsia. Be careful. It is said that it happens often with your first child. Good Luck to you Elevated blood pressure is very common in women approaching full term. Not unusual, just follow your doctor's advice. |
