What is this? fever or high blood pressure? |
last night me and my husband had a fight..i cried alot and lots of arguments...my face got really hot...may be cuz of anger or something...its alot better now but last night i couldn't go to sleep even though he apologised to me and we were happy again...but even though it wuz hot when i woke up...my friend told me that i might have high blood pressure..but my husband says i have fever cuz of cold wether...i also feel very weak and i have a bad headache...let me know what i should do and what is best for me...thanks for your advices!! Your question is a little hard to follow, but you probably weren't able to sleep because the argument got your adrenaline pumping, which would keep you from relaxing and being able to drift off to sleep. People with high blood pressure will sometimes feel faint or dizzy, have headaches, and may experience hot flashes. However, from the anecdotal evidence you supplied, it seems your friend may have jumped to the wrong conclusion. If you have any doubt, go to a doctor. There are no symptoms for high blood pressure so your symptoms had to be something else. a typical fever usually includes your typical cold symptoms (cough, congestion, but no sore throat), and muscle aches. you might also get chills...not just flushing. it definetly doesnt sound like high blood pressure as that is usually asymptomatic. if you're worried about it, head into a pharmacy that has a free blood pressure meter and check. i'd suggest some bed rest and fluids for now and just see how things progress. if it gets worse i'd call your pharmacist/dr You cannot tell if you have high blood pressure, unless you have it checked using a blood pressure monitor. It sounds like you are excessively stressed, which may manifest itself as being unable to sleep and getting headaches. If it persists more than a day or two, see your doctor. |
