How does alcohol effect perscriptions taken for: High blood pressure, depression, pain managment, heart irregu


male, 69 y.o. suffer from muscle weekness after consuming small amount of alcohol. not an alcoholic, non smoker, works 40 hours a week, on feet 95% of the day.

I know for a fact that alcohol should not be used when taking antidepressants or pain pills--and I doubt if it should be used with heart or blood pressure meds either. I think there's a site called http://www.webmd.com where you could check.
