propanolol - a beta blocker - I've heard of it being used as an anti anxiety medication - especially test anxiety. I saw this episode but this is a new use to me

I don't watch the shows, so I don't know if they really said "Polinanilol" or if you misunderstood them....but there is a drug called "propranolol" that is used for hypretension. Its brand name is Inderal. It is known as a beta blocker.
