Lotrel is a combination drug of a calcium channel blocker and a ace inhibitor. Basically, the benefits is that is controls your high blood pressure, and prevent danage to your kidneys if you are a diebetic. But there isn't any such thing as a "good side effect" all adverse reactions to medications usually are not good. Hence the reason they are called adverse reaction or side effects.
