How much effect on the body does altitude and high blood pressure have?

I have high blood pressure and I am on medication. I live at 7635 ft. and work at 4000 ft. What does this constant up and down do to a person over 50? What I'm experiencing is headaches and fatigue when I'm at 7635 ft. could this be the cause of high blood pressure and the altitude?

That's pretty high the air is starting to thin so i would say some of the prob is lack of Oxygen, especially right after work you might be using more.

You might want to consider how much air a wood burning fire might use change the inside air now and again.

The cerebrospinal fluid is affected by the altitude, be sure not to stifle a yawn, yawn often on your travels to adjust the pressure, you know when your hearing is affected that your pressures are a bit askew.

Drink lot's of water, you could burn a gallon on a hot day just driving up and down, climbing that far will dehydrate you just from the pressure change of your own bodies water. This could cause the headaches also woodsmoke and autofumes chugging up the hill.
