A normal resting heart rate for adults is 60-100 Blood pressure: Medical guidelines state that a normal blood pressure for most adults is less than 120/80. Drug treatment is recommended if your blood pressure is at or above 140/90. For people with diabetes or chronic kidney disease, drug treatment is recommended for a blood pressure level of 130/80. Lowering your blood pressure to less than 140/90 to 120/80 or below may help prevent other serious health problems. Also, your blood pressure is right on borderline. Check your blood pressure for the next few days, in the morning, at lunch, in the evening. Check your heart rate also morning, lunch, and evening. Record these and show them to your doctor. Your bp being 121/89 is so so . You want your top number to be no higher then 120 and the lower one should not be over 80. resting pulse is high. resting pulse should be between 60-100.
