Do you`ll know of any quick remedy for high blood pressure..?

I was diagnosed with High blood pressure today(140-159). I want to clear my medical test tomorrow. Im 66(does age matter..?)..I also had a high pulse rate..What can you suggest..?

With your doctor's approval, start a walking program. Walk five days per week, 40 minutes per day. Take your blood pressure medicine. Lose weight if you are overweight at a rate of not more than 2 pounds per week. Do not add salt to any food that you eat - there is already enough salt in the bread and other foods that we eat. Avoid all fast foods and all processed foods (soups, frozen dinners and pizza) and increase your intake of fruits and vegetables that are fresh (not canned). See your doctor on a regular basis. Also, it is important to learn how to vent your emotions in a healthy way. Take a meditation or yoga class. Some people can reduce their blood pressure to the degree they are removed from medication. Good luck!
Go see your Dr. there is no home remedy
1/2 tablet of aspirin unless you have problems with taking aspirin. On the long run, if you want to live longer, do some excercise.
I AM ON MEDICINE FOR MY HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, IT'S CALLED ATENELOL. I DON'T THINK I SPELLED THAT CORRECTLY.
No caffeine and if you really want to improve it become a vegetarian for about a month it will bring down the blood pressure plus it will lower your cholesterol as well.

What is High Blood Pressure?

Also known as: Hypertension

It is estimated that over 50 million people in the United States have high blood pressure or are on prescription drugs to control their blood pressure. High blood pressure is a silent disease. It is often diagnosed during a routine visit to the doctor.

Blood pressure refers to the force of blood against the walls of the arteries, veins, and the chambers of the heart as it is pumped through the body. With high blood pressure, there is a greater force against the arteries, which over time, begins to damage the lining of the blood vessels. It can lead to atherosclerosis, also known as hardening of the arteries. High cholesterol and smoking are other risk factors of atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis, in turn, can increase the lead to heart attack, stroke, and other serious conditions.
