Is there an adult add med that doesn't cause high blood pressure!?


I think the Adderal XR caused my blood pressure to go up sky high. I feel like I can't function without it! Is there something simular to Adderal XR that doesn't have this side effect? Please help!

I agree with the person above me. Do not use stimulant based meds for ADHD or ADD. You have to use non stimulant med like
Strattera and welbutrin(sp) Ask you doc and get your pressure down. Good luck.
Maybe any of the stimulant types of ADD meds will do that to you. Have you ever tried Strattera (sp?). I have ADD too & I took it once & it helped, for a while. Check drugs.com to look up side effects. Also, doesn't your doc have any ideas? (I never trust docs completely & always do my own research.)
