I read that a line on your earlobe means you have high blood pressure, and I have asked...?


I have asked strangers with this line if they have High BP and they always say yes. I have noticed some people have a curved wrinkle in front of their ear, right in front near the little inner lobe, does that have a significance medically? For instance, Mel Gibson has them. I was just wondering.

It has no official medical meaning, but it is a well known sign amongst seasoned health professionals. I've been a nurse for many years, and it's accurate every time.
There is no meaning to it. Its a coincidence. I have hypertension, no lines!
There has been research to show that those peoplel with a crease line on BOTH ear lobes are prone to heart problems. This is very recent research.
