Whats a great pill to take to lower cholesterol, and helps high blood pressure go down.? your doctor should be the one to prescribe something for you... there are so many different pills for this... i currently take norvasc for blood pressure and lipitor for cholesterol... but the combination depends on so many things you really need to ask a doctor to be sure whats best for you. You may want to also try CRESTOR and COVERSYL as an alternative. Both require a prescription. Please see your doctor. remember that the right way to do it is to check your liver functions while trying a pill. That's why you go to a doctor. There is an advertised combination drug. It combines Norvasc (amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker), with Lipitor (a statin for cholesterol). You can ask your doctor about it. There is also Niacin. It does nothing for blood pressure, but it increases your HDL (high density lipoprotein) cholesterol, which is the "good" cholesterol. It's a B vitamin, so you don't need a prescription. You can add it in, at low cost, to any prescribed regimen your doctor gives you. Get the "no flush" kind, because niacin causes an unpleasant flush all over your body. GARLIC, GARLIC, GARLIC!!!!! If you want to take ayurveda, take Rudved or Cardoved or Suved capsules. You will find the details in google search engine. |
