What are the signs that show maybe someone is a Diabetic or has high blood pressure.? |
I can't get in to see my doctor until mid next week. My symptoms are as follow: I feel very tired all the time,my entire body aches,i have an undying thirst and i need to urinate alot.I also have the baddest craving for sugar.I just want to get the bag of sugar out & eat it by the spoon full.(That is just not me)My feet have also been swelling up so much lately. I don't have a cold nor do i feel like i am coming down with flu.I just want to sleep & sleep! No I am NOT depressed about anything.I just don't feel right. My body feels out of whack. This has been going on for about a week now.ALL Sincere answers ARE GREATLY Appreciated. Thanks for your time.Be Blessed! All your symptoms sound like diabetes to me. When you have diabetes your brain does not produce seratonin. Seratonin is what keeps you from becoming depressed. You can suffer from depression and not have anything in particlar to be depressed about. I would seek the attention of a physician or endocrinologist, just to have your blood sugar checked to rule out having diabetes. As for high blood pressure, it is usually found in a patient incidentally and produces no symptoms. That why it is called the "Silent Killer". Source(s): 18 years of working in doctor's offices How about going to an optician, they can tell different problems from eyes. It might be diabeties, but only a proper test can be certain. It doesn't sound like Hypertension (high blood pressure). To make a better decision I'd need to know your age, height and weight, etc...(family hx and so on). If you get to feeling faint or have a bad spell go to the emergency room as diabeties is dangerous when unmanaged. Sounds a lot like Diabetes. Generally with high blood pressure, you have headaches. Low blood pressure can cause you to feel lathargic. I would go have a blood test done at your doctors. They can do a quick finger stick to find out the answer. You may need to fast before the test though so be sure to ask. As a type 1 myself, My symptoms were_ Horrible thirst- I drank anything cold Always going to the bathroom Vision got blurry A yeast infection SO bad I could not walk Always Dizzy TIRED Swelling normally isn't a part of diabetes, it could be blood pressure or even heart failure or a kidney problem I don't recall craving sugar an issue Your symptoms do not sound good and indicate that you may have reason for concern. Is it possible that you may go to urgent care for emergency tests? Are you also having dizziness, headache, blurred vision and light headiness. |
