How can I tell if i have a migraine? or a headache from high blood pressure? Mild migraines are hard to distinguish from other kinds of headache, but a full-blown migraine is pretty distinctive - a "band" of pain wraps around your whole head, your entire face hurts, eye sockets throb, vision blurs a bit or goes wobbly, sound and light become extremely uncomfortable, and you are nauseated. hope this helps. Source(s): my migraines told me all this to pass on to you... Check yoiur blood pressure If its only on one side of your head its probably a migrane. High blood pressure headaches will generally pulse with your heartbeat, come on suddenly, and make you dizzy or lightheaded. Depending on the migraine, you might see halos around lights, be sensitive to light and/or sound, become nauseous, throw up, it might be all over your head or one part of your head. why do u ask this on yahoo and why dont u just go and see a doctor? Migrain---headache----cant stand light or noise or anything for that matter....you will not be abel to move with out making it worse. high blood pressure---you will have headache but can move and are not sensitive to light. you will feel that in a weak body and more of a light headedness but the best way to know is to go to the doctor...they will prescribe what you need then and there. |
