Feeling hot even if the weather is cold 24 degrees and sometimes dizzy is it a cause of high blood pressure? |
Sometimes when I am at work I feel so hot even if it is winter time and I feel so uncomfortable after that I feel so dizzy. Is it due to lack of sleep or high or low blood pressure? I don't know, but when you figure it out, let me know. I don't think it's high blood pressure, because my friend just had a complete exam and all her numbers are fine. Bloodwork was normal too. She goes outside when it's 30 degrees with shorts and shortsleeves while I shiver with jacket and long pants. She gets dizzy spells, too. She has fibromyalgia, but so do I. She doesn't sleep well, but I do. Maybe that has something to do with it. I hope you find an answer, I'll keep an eye on this one. It could be either of those. Best to get it checked out incase it is high blood pressure. That is nothing to mess around with. Also, you don't state if you are male of female. If female, could you be getting got flashed going through your change? Why don鈥檛 you try getting help from this website - http://ailments.in/hypertension.html... - I found it very useful. Sounds a lot like hot flashes, which I know from personal experience! You don't say how old you are, but I started perimenopause (onset of menopause) early in my 40's, so it's possible you're going through it too. Believe me, I know how you feel! For work, dress in layers so you can take some of them off when you get hot. If you have a private office area, even wear a tank top or sleeveless top as your bottom layer over your bra, so you can strip down to that if you need to. I also have a fan handy for really "warm" days. Sometimes it seems to be worse in the winter because the heat is on and you can't find anywhere cool, also people expect you to dress in winter clothes when what you really want to wear is a tank top! Good luck. The dizziness is not one of my menopausal symptoms, but I do have insomnia and diabetes and if I'm very tired or my glucose is a little low, I will sometimes feel a little dizzy. I would check with a doctor and have your glucose and your blood pressure tested, just to be sure. Make sure you're eating right and getting enough fluids, and try to get enough rest, I know how hard that is. Take care, I hope things work out. |
