How high can blood pressure go before someone could have a stroke or heart attack?

My husbands blood pressure is always hi. Today it was 152/110. Military doctors won't put him on meds.

It can get as high as 230/180. But by then he may have a stroke, annurism or heart attack at any moment. Most likely it can be lowered a few natural ways. I am not a doctor but then again, all they do is give you drugs. You can send him the following things to help alleviate the pressure: Omega 3/Fish Oil (pharmeceutical grade) from the Scandanavian region. It naturally thins the blood for better circulation. Aged garlic added to his foods. High antioxidant foods such as the berry goup. Blueberries, Rasberries, Strawberries, Blackberries. Also spinach. He also needs plenty of the amino acid Arginine found in all forms of nuts. It improves the valve function of the heart. When he sleeps, elevate his feet with pillows. And last but not least REST, REST. Source(s): My mom is healing from a stroke from last yr. Her pressure is now consistent with healthy living. She also lost 80 lbs.
