On occassions my blood pressure is high, my doctors says that I must be on medication.? |
Every now and then my blood pressure goes up.Its not often but my Dr says that I have to take blood pressure pills. Sooo....what exactly is your question. You said: "On occassions my blood pressure is high, my doctors says that I must be on medication.?" "Every now and then my blood pressure goes up.Its not often but my Dr says that I have to take blood pressure pills." You've stated your problem. What's your question about it? eat more vegetable and other healthier food .... that can maintain your blood pressure to the normal one.... Get a second opinion! High BP is serious! Medication can certainly help but there are more factors such as diet, salt intake, exercise, etc! SEEK ANOTHER OPINION! It depends on how high your blood pressure is and why its only on occasion. Are you stressed, have high cholesterol, overweight, do you smoke etc. Those are all symptoms that can cause high blood pressure and that again can result in many other things that might be not too good for you (heart attacks, stroke etc.). Talk about it with your doctor and find out why you need the pills. yeah i know what that's like I'm 17 and on blood pressure medication because I'm over weight.so being over weight can cause it.but if your doc says your should be on medicine you should listen because high blood pressure is no joke it sucks so just listen to your doctor me How old are you? If you are in the older range, it wouldn't be a bad idea. It will help with circulation. Also, do you have swelling or anything? Some blood pressure pills help with that too. The Dr. is probably taking a lot of things under consideration. You should probably take them. If you really don't think you need them, try getting a second opinion. |
