If cholesterol is over 300 is that high? How about blood pressure If it is 138 over 94 is that high?


Asking on husbands behalf. He is scared his pulse also runs almost always over 90. Is this bad. What are symtoms?

Cholesterol is not supposed to be over 200. So this is a definite no-no. May seek out a low fat diet for that. And the BP is what docs might call borderline high bp. Pulse rate varies from person to person depending on if they work out on a routine basis. If he is that concerned please seek the advice of a doctor. I am a nurse but no doctor. im saing most of the time normal heart rates run between 80-120, but that depends on the physical fitness as well. check with the doctor to be sure about this.
Cholesterol is pretty high. He desperately needs to go on a low carb diet to get that down. Otherwise, he'll have to start taking $4 cholesterol pills. BP of 138/94 is a little high but not awful. 90 pulse is fine.
He really should see a doctor about his cholesterol. The tests they run can tell you how serious his condition is and the chances of cardiac problems. In my opinion I would take $4 pills if it meant I wouldn't have to cut carbs.
Cholesterol is high. Your husband meeds to see a doctor. Sometimes you can control the cholesterol with diet and exercise. I tried that for two years but had to take meds. High cholesterol runs in families too. It also causes heart attacks.
