High cholesterol can cause diseases of the blood vessels which can lead to heart attack, stroke, or erectile dysfunction. Cialis is prescription only, so his doctor can evuate him when he gets the script. Don't buy it overseas or on the internet. There is no proof or gaurantee that it is pure cialis. The "extra" or incorrect ingredients could kill (or really hurt) him. Usually, men with high cholesterol can use Cialis, but this is for HIS doctor to decide.
Yes he can take Cialis. .... but for heavens sake get on a statin drug to get the cholesterol down or he won't need Cialis (he'll be dead)!

Other than the cholesterol problem, don't take any ED med if you have nitrates to take for heart problems.
Until you get the cholesterol in check, I'd worry about a big clot of fat restricting the higher blood flow induced by Cialis.
