My blood pressure is pretty high and its getting dangerous for me to be on the pill?

Is the injection any better for you if you have high blood pressure?
i don't really want a coil!

Talk to your doctor but on the injection you put on weight as a hormone in it makes you want to eat more. Believe me I went up 2 dress sizes in 3 months. Just ask what your doctor thinks is best for you. I tried the coil as well but had it removed after 8 weeks as I didn't stop bleeding! Greta contraception wouldn't do anything while bleeding so it done its job> I was in pain with it as well I could fell it inside, horrible. I fell pregnant while on the pill. So now I think I will turn my self into a nun( I may as well). Take care of yourself and get yourself to your doctors asap.
Talking to your doctor.
I think the shot is fabulous. I've never had any side effects from it, other than not getting a period anymore. (And how awesome is THAT?!!)
You have to ask your doctor about that. Maybe you should try controlling your blood pressure before anything else. Hypertension is a serious and treacherous disease. It can strike anytime.
Ask your doc about the Mini Pill, only the combined Pill affects blood pressure
ask a doctor
Talk to your gyn about the nuvaring. (www.nuvaring.com) It's a much lower dose of hormone than any of the pills. The depo shot might be worse than the pill regarding blood pressure and heart disease...everyone I know has had some significant side effects taking the shot. I work with a few female ob/gyn's and they all use the ring. Good luck.
