I recently broke my hand and went to er. my blood pressure was extremely high----can stress cause this?

It is normal for your blood pressure to be high when you are stressed or in pain. Both at the same time makes your blood pressure even higher. It's nothing to worry about. Just check your blood pressure at the local pharmacy when you are feeling calm. That will give you a more accurate reading.
yes , it can cause u to have moodswings sometimes too my sister has had it before but don't worry it'll all go away in a week or 2
absolutely. Pain can also raise it.
Stress and pain can cause a temporary blood pressure increase.

You need to get it checked again to make sure it isn't continually elevated. High blood pressure is dangerous to your health and usually simple to control.
Both stress and physical pain can raise the blood pressure. Not at all uncommon. However is your pressure raises over small amounts of stress or stays elevated for long periods you should have it checked out. You should probably talk to your Dr. about it and have him check it out.
Sure can
stressful situations will cause blood pressure to increase and the anxiety of having your hand broke would certainly would not have helped matters any. For some people just walking into a hospital will increase their blood presssure.
