Is a blood pressure reading of 121 over 74 too high for a 14 year old boy? |
I've notice that other kids his age have readings around a 100 over 65. I've read a good pressure for adults is less than 120 over 80. Is this true for adolescent boys as well? be aware of the salt content in food. read labels. exercise. your blood pressure is not high..and you want to keep it that way later in life also. Nope, that is within the nromal range. Like everyone Blood pressure varies from Minute to minute. So the only way to determine problems is to take readings over a period of time. But yours is normal.
