Gestational Diabeties and High Blood Pressure? |
Just wanting to know if anyone else out their had these 2 things while pregnant?? Did the baby come early? Did you have to have a c-section? Please tell me your experience........ I am 31 weeks pregnant and last week had a ultra sound to check the size of the baby and it is a week ahead of what it should be due to the diabeties. I know my date's are correct. Your help would be very much appreciated... thank you Hi there, I had Gestational diabetes with my 3rd and now my 5th pregnancy. I scraped through the test with number 4, but still watched what I ate. Number three, I controlled my diet strictly and had a healthy bub. As I am high risk I am induced. But everything went to plan at 37 weeks. She was 6lb 4 oz. I am now 31 weeks with number five. I am trying to eat well and bub is bigger than average for this stage. It weighed 1.6 kgs at 30 weeks. Which is about 300 g more than average. But as you may know they do what they want when they want. But if you behave then the risks to both you and your baby are reduced. You may find that you are now considered to be a higher risk pregnancy and the Doctors will keep a closer check on you. I have given a good link. I hope it helps you. I wish you all the best for a safe arrival. Source(s): http://www.bddiabetes.com/us/download/6a... |
