Whats a high blood pressure and heart rate for a pregnant woman?

My last pregnancy I had preeclampsia and so I've been watching my bp for the last month. (3 months along) My BP is not high I don't think 112/80 but my heart rate is up to 100 - 102 and I am shaking all over. I had a good breakfast so I don't feel as though it is my blood sugar, but my heart is pounding hard like I've been running which I haven't.

130/90 is classified as high blood pressure. Anything over 140 bpm is going to be unhealthy.

My advice is to lie on your left side, keep your feet elevated, and stay hydrated.

I had preeclampsia with my first pregnancy as well, and it's really hard not to get paranoid. I thought I had it again when I started to get SEVERE headaches, but it turned out I was just dehydrated.

A heartrate of 100 really isn't THAT high for someone who is pregnant. My resting heartrate was between 85-95 and my doctor wasn't too worried.

Of course it depends on your medical history, and only you and your doctor would know that, but your BP by average standards is very good, and your heart rate, again, by average standards, is normal.

Try having a snack, drink some water and see if that helps, and go lie down/relax with your feet up for a little while and see if you feel better...if you're still shaky, just call your dr's office and see if there's anything you should do.
Your BP sounds fine....HR is a little high, but if you are feeling TOO crazy please call your doc...

Pre-Eclampsia....Bless your heart. My friend had that, it wasn't a good pregnancy. But hers wasn't detected until it was too late, then they had to do an emergency c-section.

At least they caught yours in time, so you will be FINE! you are doing all the right things.

Maybe you're just anxious about the fact you have history of preeclampsia. I hope your good breakfast does not include caffeinated coffee, as that could boost your pulse. . . .
