High Blood Pressure 177/112?

I tested 177/112 today I know it's high but how concerned should I be if I feel fine?

First, the person who said that this blood pressure is not a problem is an idiot. When your Blood pressure is that high, you are doing severe damage to your kidneys. The number one cause for people to be on dialysis (kidney machine) is untreated high blood pressure. Dialysis is a miserable existance while you are waiting to die. I am being blunt, but I have seen way to many patients in my career who killed their kidneys by ignoring their blood pressure. Go to a doctor, have a few tset done to see if it might be caused by a type of tumor called a pheochromocytoma. If that is the cause, it can be removed, and your blood pressure will go back to normal. Otherwise, you will need to be placed on medication. I am assuming that you are not taking some drug such as meth, cocaine, or crack that will cause your blood pressure to be that high. Source(s): 25 years of anesthesia
Be very worried and go to the doctors to get a plan worked out with your doctor to get the BP down it should be 120/80. And it is known as a silent killer which means you have no pain or sick feeling when it is high for along time you can have a stroke, heart attack. Please get help from a doctor right away.
unless you are sick, you should be very worried.
sure you could feel fine. you should still see a doctor. and if you are smoking, i suggest quitting. other than that, start exercising and eating right! oh, and cut out the caffiene.
Be concerned. I have high blood pressure too and I feel fine. Your blood pressure can affect you in different ways. You will not necessarily feel crappy. Lower your sodium intake, do not use salt on food, stop smoking if you smoke. If you are stressed out, which is the cause of my high blood pressure, ask your doctor for an anti anxiety drug. That is what is lowering my blood pressure.
You need to make a doctors appointment and be treated for hypertension.
They call high blood pressure the silent killer because your blood pressure staying elevated can kill your kidneys and cause you to have a stroke.
