Is there sny cure for Autism thru Homeopathy? I have heard of parents with autistic children working with homeopaths. I've heard of better results using a combination of biomed and chelation (safe protocol) though. Check out http://www.danasview.net for one mom's chronicle of her journey. I think the best chance is through diet. Listen to Zambiti. My son has severe low functioning autism, nonverbal, epilepsy and OCD. Danasview is an awesome site. We've been using supplements since October and now on Round 4 of chelation (Andy's protocol). My son barely said anything 5 months ago and now he jabbers sounds all day and says a new word weekly! If you want to try the GFCF diet go to GFCFkids yahoo group. Or if wanting to try chelation go to the Autism-Mercury yahoo group. Certainly you should get Dr. Amy Lansky's book "The Impossible Cure". A homeopath treated her autistic son and I am sure you will find it interesting reading. Although I have seen these types of programs work for children with autism, bio-med and chelation, along with the GFCF diet, please remember that these methods are not going to work for every child, with autism. I have seen great results with chelation in a preschool aged child that I worked with in a ABA program and would encourage you to look into it, but please remember that nothing has been proven to cure autism. You can't cure autism any more than you can cure an amputation. It's neurological damage. |
