What displays greater poverty of thinking: Believe in God or believing in homeopathy?

avid: why is it mean for me to express my beliefs but fine for religious/new-age weirdos to express theirs?

Homeopathy I think, because that at least has been proven wrong. God is, well, pretty hard to define and rather impossible to prove or disprove. Whether or not someone believes is just their own prerogative.

I'm very confused, as are you it seems.

belief in god..weres the proof?

Belief in God won't cure you -

but many homeopathy approaches will. Although mother earth produces many poisons, she also produces the antidotes.

Your meaness is a view? Why not state what you believe with kindness and try hard to not make fun of others.?

Sarcasm seems to be one of the least attractive traits any of us can possibly display to one another here on the boards.

Kindness would be a welcome change, eh?

You show great poverty of your own mind for this question. If you believe in anything at all, where is the poverty of thinking?

None has to display povery of thinking. Poverty of thinking is when you simply take things for granted, when people tell you. When I have good reasons to believe in God, or Homeopathy, when I have thought about believing in it, none of these believes displays poverty of thinking. However, from how you asked your question, it seems to be almost rhetoric. You are convinced that believing in God of homeopathy displays poverty of thinking. I can only say, go ahead, as long as you have thought about it.

They are both equally wasteful and pointless.

Homeopathy, without a doubt.

But most people hear "Homeopathy" and think herbalism, which is quite effective, unlike homeopathy.

Hmmmmnn, difficult. I suppose it must be homoeopathy. God can retreat into the gaps, but homoeopathy can be exposed by the simplest of tests!

Everyone believes in God, but some don't like the idea and ask questions like this one. But homoeopathy can get results, though I don't know that I recommend it. HM the Queen uses homoeopathy, so don't be hasty. She also believes in God, of course.
.

Millar makes a good point - Her Majesty the Queen believes in God and Homoeopathy - i am in excellent company - i also believe in both..

Although i won't cast my perils before you know what?
