Have any of you had any luck with homeopathy? |
I have been seeing a homeopath for exzema and have not seen any results. It has been 2 years now.So I was just wondering if any of you have had any results with it? Definatly change your practitioner. Ive used homeopathy for many things with much success. Its true it may take more time than a drug, but not 2 years. Consider someone else, or even seek out another naturopathic doctor 2 years and no results eh. i would stop going if i were you. Tried tea tree oil? Diet changes?? Change Homeopaths!! I have had good luck with homeopathy perhaps it is not the best path for your condition if in 2 years you have not seen results. It may be that your practitioner has not found the right remedy or it may be time for you to try a different type of therapy/ The only effect of homeopathy is the placebo effect. Try fish oils. 3 or 4 in the morning, and 3 or 4 at night. Do this for 6 weeks and see how your skin feels after that. I take 6 a day religiously and have stopped using moisturiser. I give them to my dog and it cleared up his itchy skin. You may want to change homeopaths or try different treatments than you're currently doing. My husband and I have both had luck with natural medicine...he got his cholesterol from 406 to 210 and I got my high blood pressure back to normal just by taking certain daily vitamins and adding certain foods to our diets. Vitamins worked much BETTER than Lipitor for him, and I never even bothered taking medication for my blood pressure since it started to slowly go towards normal after about a week of my homeopathic regimen. Controlled studies have shown that homeopathy is no better than placebos. Maximum three months enough for a good doctor. Homoeopathy is not acting luckily on the patient, as if the detail case history is given by the patient there is results but sometimes the patient will not give the History properly then there will be no cure. |
