Please tell me how homeopathy is considered a valid science?

What I do know about homeopathy is that its based on the belief that our health problems are only symptoms of an underlying problem within our body, and its necessary to solve that underlying problem instead of suppressing the symptom(to summarize).I was just reading a sample questionnaire that they give patients to answer in order to determine the underlying problem, and I have a major problem with the psychological section -- where they ask about mental/emotional problems.

I see this as a major methodological problem because 1) Do these people even have PhDs in a psychological field? I am assuming they dont, and if they did, 2) How is a questionnaire enough to diagnose somebody? There are so many other factors involved, such as repressed memories and the fact that they are making a diagnosis on the patients' self-reports. Since I am running out space, I won't list all the problems I can see with this, but I am just asking someone to explain how its valid because I don't understand?

It sounds like you are talking about naturopathic or holistic medicine. For example Jean Claude Van Damme got depressed. His ND figured that he had trained his whole life and stopped. So he had him start again and his depression was cured.

Homeopathy is stupid. They make medicine out of something bad for you and dilute it. So a guy is really sick and he vomits. They use that vomit to make medicine.

perhaps it is not a rigorous science in some parts of the world, but in some parts like Germany for example Homeopathy has been developed into a valid science
